Acting Director of BPOLBF, Frans Teguh, shared that this initiative promotes an open-air nature-based tourism experience, featuring morning and evening yoga sessions in the tranquil and lush surroundings of Parapuar forest. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with the natural energy through mindfulness meditation, deep breathing exercises, and self-reflection under the calming canopy of green trees.
“Flow and Glow 2025 is a chance for everyone to recharge their energy in the great outdoors, enjoying fresh air, stunning views, and positive vibes that are hard to find amidst the hustle and bustle of city life,” Frans stated in a press release received on Friday, June 13, 2025.
Frans emphasized that this meditation retreat is a tangible commitment from BPOLBF to support the development of sustainable health and wellness tourism in Labuan Bajo Flores. “We want Labuan Bajo to be recognized not only for its marine tourism and natural beauty but also as a wellness tourism destination that offers transformative experiences,” he added.
“Flow and Glow is our first step in introducing the concept of yoga and meditation tourism amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Flores,” he continued. The event will take place at Natas Parapuar on June 21 and is open to the public. Those interested in participating can register with BPOLBF.
