“This shift isn’t limited to Mr. Wahyu; many others have also transitioned from their previous roles,” said ITDC’s Operations Director, Troy Reza Waroka, during a media briefing on Friday, July 18, 2025, in Mandalika. Troy highlighted his own move back to the Operations Director position from his previous commercial role, emphasizing that there were no issues prompting Wahyu’s reassignment.
“To illustrate, I’ve returned to the Operations Director role, and we have a new Commercial Director. There are shifts happening at various levels,” he noted.
Troy further clarified that changes in positions within ITDC are common practice, given the organization’s oversight of multiple locations. “Position shifts are standard in ITDC. Staff may transition between locations like Nusa Dua, Labuan Bajo, or Mandalika,” he asserted.
In addition to Wahyu, others have also taken on new responsibilities, including Desi Rosmawati, now the Business Development Department Head for The Mandalika. “Wahyu’s placement and Agus’s promotion are unrelated to any land issues,” he confirmed.
He assured that no violations by Wahyu prompted this mutational move. The former GM of The Mandalika is now being offered a new position, coinciding with a promotion to elevate management for multiple regions. “If any violations were present on Wahyu’s part, I would clarify there haven’t been any infractions or mistakes. This transition is aimed at enhancing my role as Operations Director for the management of these three regions,” he stated firmly.
