Lovina Festival Surpasses 600 Million Rupiah in Total Transactions

The Lovina Festival 2025 was officially closed by Gede Supriatna, the Deputy Regent of Buleleng, marking a successful four-day event that generated a total of Rp 600 million in transactions at the venue. Supriatna highlighted the success of this year’s festival, which was executed without relying on the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD). He praised the achievement as a result of the dedicated efforts and collaborative spirit of the local tourism stakeholders in Lovina.

“The spirit of togetherness and collaboration with the government has been the key to this year’s festival’s success, which was more organized, neat, and conceptually sound than ever before,” Supriatna stated during the closing ceremony on Sunday night, July 27, 2025.

Initiated and driven by the local community, the Lovina Festival is included in the Ministry of Tourism’s 100 Calendar of Events and is recognized as a prominent national tourism promotion icon. Over four days, the festival engaged micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and showcased local culinary delights. Additionally, hotel occupancy rates in the Lovina area surged to 85% during the festival period.

Gede Dody Oktiva Askara, the festival’s organizing committee chair, emphasized that the event not only brought economic benefits to the local residents but also featured 1,408 traditional and modern artists participating in various performances throughout the festival. “The Lovina Festival is not just a celebration of entertainment; it’s a shared platform for cultural expression that unites artistic talents and invigorates the local economy,” Dody remarked.
