Lembaga Perlindungan Saksi dan Korban (LPSK) is currently examining the request of Misri Puspita Sari to be recognized as a justice collaborator (JC). Misri is one of the suspects in the case involving the death of Brigadier Muhammad Nurhadi, a member of the Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) police.
“We are still reviewing this. The application for Misri to become a JC is being processed,” said Achmadi, the Chairman of LPSK, during a briefing on the extension of the deadline for terrorism victim compensation claims in Denpasar, Bali, on Thursday, July 17, 2025. Achmadi explained that several criteria must be met by a witness or accomplice in order to be designated as a JC. If Misri satisfies the applicable requirements and regulations, LPSK will provide necessary protection.
“If not, then the application will not be approved,” he added. Achmadi noted that the assessment of the JC application takes into account the nature of the offenses tied to the applicant. The designation of JC must align with Article 28 of Law Number 13 of 2006 concerning Witness and Victim Protection.
“We can’t give an initial assessment on the likelihood of approval for becoming a JC; we need to delve deeper into the situation,” he continued. Earlier, Misri’s application to be recognized as a JC was submitted by her attorney, Yan Mangandar. This request has also been forwarded to the National Commission on Human Rights (Komnas HAM), NTB Police, and the NTB High Prosecutor’s Office.
In her application, Misri acknowledged being present at the scene when Brigadier Nurhadi was allegedly assaulted to death at the Villa Tekek pool in Gili Trawangan, North Lombok, on the night of April 16, 2025. However, she denied any involvement in the assault against the NTB Police’s Bidpropam member, asserting that she did not directly engage in the violent act that led to Brigadier Nurhadi’s death.
