PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia, or ITDC, has officially launched two exciting tourism programs at The Golo Mori in Golo Mori Village, Komodo District, Manggarai Barat, Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). These programs are set to begin commercial operations on Sunday, July 20, 2025. Visitors can enjoy cultural dance performances titled “The Legend of Golo Mori Hill” and a premium culinary experience called Nuka Grillfest. Both attractions were introduced during the Travel Agent Gathering on October 12, 2024, and are now available weekly at the Golo Mori Convention Center (GMCC) and Nuka Beach Club.
“This marks a significant moment for us as we kick off the inaugural activation and commercialization of the unique attractions at The Golo Mori. By integrating local arts, culture, and cuisine, we aim to provide an authentic experience that enriches our guests’ journeys,” stated Aji Munarwiyanto, General Manager of The Golo Mori, after the program launch on July 20, 2025.
Aji explained that the introduction of these two attractions aims to strengthen the appeal of The Golo Mori as a Marine-Based MICE Tourism destination. Additionally, the program seeks to deliver authentic experiences rooted in local art and cuisine, foster collaboration with communities, and create opportunities for economic growth.
“With the introduction of these flagship programs, The Golo Mori is optimistic about attracting more visitors and industry partners to explore authentic, inclusive, and globally competitive tourism potential in the heart of Labuan Bajo,” Aji added.
These tourism programs will be held regularly each Sunday. The dance performance “The Legend of Golo Mori Hill” takes place from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM WITA at the Teno Amphitheater GMCC, while the Nuka Grillfest runs from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM WITA at Nuka Beach Club.
Visitors will need to purchase tickets, priced at Rp 150,000 per person for the dance performance, which includes access to the area, snacks, and soft drinks. For a delightful BBQ dinner by the sea, tickets are available for Rp 350,000 per person, covering the entire menu.
Tickets can be booked via the official GMCC WhatsApp, at various hotels in Labuan Bajo, through partner travel agents, or on-the-spot at GMCC.
