On Monday, June 23, 2025, electricity supply was interrupted in several areas of Bali. The disruption is due to maintenance work being carried out by PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) Unit Induk Distribusi (UID) Bali. This maintenance was announced on PLN UID Bali’s Instagram account, @plndistribusibali, but the notification was only shared in Instagram Stories, making it visible for just 24 hours after posting.
In their Instagram Stories, PLN UID Bali explained, “To enhance the reliability of electricity supply, we will be conducting maintenance on the distribution network. This routine maintenance is essential to ensure better quality of electrical services.” They also expressed their apologies to the community for any inconvenience caused by the temporary power outages in various locations.
PLN UID Bali encourages residents to contact PLN at 123 or report any issues via the PLN Mobile app if they experience disruptions outside of the scheduled maintenance times.
